Echo Law has commenced a class action on behalf of shareholders against Cochlear Ltd (ASX:COH) in relation to the Company’s announcement to the ASX on 22 April 2026 that it was downgrading its guidance range for FY26 underlying net profit.
COH’s share price declined by approximately 41% in response to the downgrade.

long exposure to COH securities by entering into equity swap confirmations,
between 15 August 2025 and 21 April 2026 (inclusive).
Allegations
The proceeding alleges that, between 15 August 2025 and 21 April 2026, COH engaged in misleading or deceptive conduct and breached its obligations of continuous disclosure to the market in relation to the representations made about its expected FY26 underlying net profit, and information withheld about its likely FY26 performance.

Costs
